Paediatric First Aid Course - Summary
FLEX Training offers tailored first aid courses for individuals and businesses involved in child care provision and education. We offer group courses in the local area. The course guides attendees through the world of Paediatric emergency first aid and illnesses. Giving course attendees the opportunity to interact with each other, support each other and learn the skills they needed to save lives and treat the most common accident and emergencies.
FLEX Training is run by Jon who is passionate about improving the first aid skills in the workplaces and the home. He believes that Paediatric First Aid training is essential in all aspects of life, whether you are in the workplace or in the home. This course focuses on dealing with young children in an emergency situation and identifying common illnesses.
The courses are focused on building knowledge and practical skills. Practical skills are practised under some pressure but in a safe, secure and supportive environment.
FLEX training is based in Basildon, Essex - courses can be run with groups of eight people across Essex and the surrounding area. Get in touch to find out more.
Who is the class for?
The Paediatric First Aid Course is available as a 1 or 2-day course, these are focused on providing basic paediatric first aid and emergency lifesaver training.
The one day course is suitable for staff in a day to day role within a child care or education setting.
The two-day course is suitable for staff involved in a supervisory or management role within a child care or education setting.
What will the course Cover?
Our trainer is accredited to provide First Aid training by the Association of First Aid Trainers and covers the standard requirements for First Aid Training.
Flexible Delivery
Our courses are delivered normally in day-long slots, we can tailor the course content to be delivered in a number of shorter sessions to suit nursery, child care and education providers in the evenings, weekends, training days or holidays.
We can offer courses on or off-site across Essex and the surrounding areas.
